This demonstrates Scarsin’s ongoing commitment to providing its clients with the highest level of compliance in regards to data security, reliability and privacy. It also further demonstrates Scarsin’s adoption of an on-going regimen for continued compliance efforts in order to bring assurance to clients that Scarsin understands the value of a continuing process of evaluation and monitoring of our services in a dynamic environment.
Last November, Scarsin obtained the initial SOC Type 1 Attestation Report which included a security attestation process to validate the design of controls put into its operation. The continued efforts towards receiving the Type 2 Attestation report takes the process one step further by testing the operating effectiveness of the controls over a designated test period. The SOC 2 Attestation Standard, defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is recognized and accepted worldwide and is designated by the AICPA as the most relevant attest standard for service providers such as Scarsin and its business processes.
